Clayton Dermon, a native and life-long resident of Carroll County KY, has been involved with the local music scene there for the last three decades. Over the years his performances with area bands have run the gambit of styles and genres. Clayton's most recent musical project is the area's favorite Classic Rock / Blues band, Coupe DeVille, of which he is a founding member. Notable Coupe De Ville appearances include the Blues to The Point Festival and The Governor's Derby Breakfast . During his tenure with Coupe De Ville the band has opened for national touring acts such as Lonnie Mack and Tinsley Ellis. Recently retired from his job of 23 years, Clayton is pleased to announce that he will be striking out in a new direction as a solo artist . Clayton still plans to play limited engagements with Coupe De Ville, however his main area of emphasis will be as a solo acoustic performer. Clayton's show consists of varied selections from Merle Travis to the Beatles, from Stephen Foster to George Gershwin. Clayton can currently be seen most every Fri. night from 8:00 - 10:00 PM at the Carrollton Inn Lounge and Restaurant. We would like to extend an invitation to every one to visit Clayton and witness his unique offerings of classic folk , country, rock , and pop favorites.
